HTAD Reviews Policy
- How to Auto Detail does not accept paid or sponsored reviews.
- Companies cannot submit reviews or have reviews about their products altered or removed.
- We accept all reviews whether you loved the product or totally hated it. Or even felt “meh” about it.
- All reviews are validated by the editor team and published within a few days. The only edits we make are for fixing typos and setting the product category.
- By submitting a review, you are granting permission for your review to be posted on How to Auto Detail. See our Privacy Policy.
- If you submitted a review and need to update or delete it, reach out to us on the Discord server in the ticket channel.
Review Details and Tips
We’re a community of detailers so we love getting all the details. Here are some things we like to know if you need ideas or help on what to write.
- What is the product for and how did you use it? What were your steps?
- Have you used anything similar for comparison?
- If you had to dilute any chemicals, what dilution did you use? Was the packaging leaking or messy?
- Did anything break in shipping or while you were using it?
- For the price point and performance, was the product acceptable or worth it?
- Would you buy this again or recommend it to others? Will you use it again or gift it to someone else?
- Did it cause any damage, staining, or discoloration?
- Did it fix any damage, staining, or discoloration?
- Did it smell good or bad? (ex: Iron removers in general are known to be foul)
